OOTD: Double Denim

Emma's Picture Postcards

Finally an outfit post! I wore this (plus jacket, scarf and gloves!) for a little trip into town yesterday to upgrade my phone and find some new jeans.

I love a bit of double denim. Most fashion trends make me at least wrinkle my nose when they first appear – some grow on me (wet look leggings – I thought they wereย ridiculous when my sister brought a pair of them back from a trip to New York years ago, and now I LOVE them), some don’t (harem pants), but I think growing up in the 90s meant I was always going to have a soft spot for too much denimย ๐Ÿ˜‰

I hadn’t realised until now that I was also wearing double Topshop – I do love Topshop denim though, it’s lovely and soft. I actually bought these Converse secondhand on ebay about… sixย years ago, maybe more? I’ve worn them more than regularly and they’re still going strong – that’s some quality merchandise right there ๐Ÿ™‚

I like this as a comfy weekend outfit and will sometimes dress it up with heels etc for a casual dinner / drinks.

How was your weekend?

    • Aw thanks a lot ๐Ÿ™‚ I love their jeans, they seem to be the only ones I ever find that stay soft and comfy without completely losing their shape.
